Abstract

The BOBP has since 1985 been promoting cleaner fishery harbours in the region with support from the lMO. It has conducted pilot activities in India, Thailand, the Maldives and Sri Lanka, focusing on areness-building amongst stakeholders about overcoming pollution in fishery harbours and landing sites.
