Abstract

Deep-sea trap exploratory fishing operations were conducted in the continental slopes and seamounts in the waters off Bataan and Batangas, and approaches of Manila Bay, such as in Zambales and Ilocos Provinces, and Polillo Island, in the Philippines from 2011 to 2013, under the project of the Philippine Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) on optimum utilization of fishery resources in the exclusive economic zone (EEZ) of the Philippines.
