Rural coastal areas in Laemsing District, Chanthaburi Province, Thailand have been experiencing tidal flooding, and most communities are settled in the District’s areas with geographical characteristics susceptible to sea level rise. In line with the efforts of the Government of Thailand to raise awareness on the impacts of climate change and understand climate change vulnerability, this study was conducted to link the impacts of sea level rise and its consequences with the lives of rural coastal people, and affirm that this particular District has the highest risk of sea levelrelevant events in the future.
