Abstract

Under the auspices of the ICAR revolving fund an agar plant was commissioned at Mandapam , Tamil Nadu on 16 September which was inaugurated by Padmashri Dr. N. Balakrishnan Nair, Professor and Forme r Head , Departmen t of Aquatic Biology and Fisheries, Kerala University, Trivandrum. In view of this an one-day workshop on seaweed processing and seaweed products was organised by the TTC of CMFRI.
