Abstract

Success has been achieved in breeding the grouper "Epinephelus tauvina" in the onshore indoor recirculating culture facility at the mariculture field laboratory, Cochin. It is the first attempt of breeding of protogynous marine finfish in the country. Groupers realise high prices in the export market.
