Abstract

The Vizhinjam Research Centre and Mandapa m Regional Centre have been successful in the breeding of clown fish Amphipnon chrysogaster, a potential marine ornamental fish in captivity. Larval rearing techniques are witnessing success at Vizhinjam and Mandapam . Few larvae metamorphosed and attained the juvenile stage. A batch of larvae has reached 6-8 mm size.
