Abstract

It is reported that a sea snake Hydrophis cyanocintus (Daudin) was found attached with 21 numbers of barnacles Chelonibia patula (Ranzani) on its body. The sea snake collected from the trawler catches landed at Rameswaram was in moulted condition.
