Abstract

The National Maritime Museum, at Sydney’s Darling Harbour, has developed strong links with Australia’s shipping industry. In several exhibitions the Museum demonstrates the importance of shipping in Australian history and several shipping companies take a close interest in the Museum’s work often entering into partnership with it on projects.
