Abstract

The Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) has recommended to the shipping industry in Marine Notice 2/1999 that the IMO ‘Code of Practice for the Safe Loading and Unloading of Bulk Carriers’ be followed as a means of enhancing the safe operation of bulk carriers.
