Abstract
In the case of Landcatch v The Braer Corporation [1999] 2 Lloyds Report 316, the Scottish Inner House (Appeal Court) has reaffirmed that the traditional and accepted tests of liability and remoteness should be applied to claims for damages arising out of oil spills.
