Abstract

This uniquely designed, illustrated and explanatory guidebook explains the Work in Fishing Convention, 2007, adopted in Geneva, in June 2007 at the 96th International Labour Conference (ILC) of the International Labour Organization (ILO). Available in three languages—English, French and Spanish—it is meant to aid fishworkers and their organizations understand the possible benefits and implications of the Convention for artisanal and smallscale fisheries in developing countries.
