Abstract

CONAPACH, the national federation of fishworker organizations in Chile, was formed in 1990. It was established to defend the rights of fishworkers and to protect fish resources. There are around 400 organizations that are permanent members of CONAPACH. Through them, CONAPACH reaches out to 60,000 fishworkers.
