Abstract

An exchange of notes between Japan and the FSM to begin the second phase of the Teketik Fishing Port in Pohnpei project was signed in Palikir June 9. The agreement will result in a grant from Japan of almost $4 million and will be made available during the period between now and March 31, 2001, unless the period is extended upon mutual agreement.
