Abstract

I greatly appreciate the careful and critical readings of my essay provided by Madeleine Hall-Arber, Ratana Chuenpagdee, and Manuel Valdés Pizzini, each of whom brings far more expertise than I have to the issue of how we think about and research issues in coastal and nearshore marine management.
