Abstract

With the growing consumers’ concern on the quality of fish and fishery products as well as the environmental impacts associated with fisheries and aquaculture activities, SEAFDEC with the support from the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) has been undertaking the study on eco-labelling of fish and fishery products; and on 30 January 2009 SEAFDEC Secretariat in collaboration with the Department of Fisheries of Thailand organized a one-day Workshop on “Certification and Eco-labeling” in Bangkok, Thailand.
