Abstract

Audie Lim has never had a formal knowledge of aquaculture. But his name is fast becoming a byword among serious intensive milkfish aquaculturists in southern Philippines. If things should continue to go well, his name may become famous in the milkfishproducing countries in Southeast Asia -- Taiwan, Indonesia, and the Philippines. Lim is known as Chun Chay in the Chinese community. He pursued a degree in medical technology in a Cebu college in the 70s and at the young age of 19 got married. He then took over the family business in Ozamiz City, a hardware construction and supply store.
