Abstract

‘Through the oceans, save the earth’. This clarion call could be seen on billboards and buntings all over the city of Manado in Sulawesi, Indonesia which hosted the World Ocean Conference (WOC) and the Coral Triangle Initiative (CTI) Summit from 11 to 15 May 2009.
