Abstract

The 4th Maritime Security Challenges Conference was hosted by the Canadian Maritime Forces Pacific and was designed to address a number of pertinent maritime security issues of the day. The program was comprised of five main plenary topics which involved presentations by subject matter experts from military, government, academic and private sector communities which were followed by discussion and Q&A covering: maritime piracy, littoral and riverine operations, new naval technologies, port security, and humanitarian assistance and disaster relief (HA/DR).
