Abstract

Steve Beverly, Fisheries Development Officer, participated in the practical fishing module of the annual SPC Nelson Polytechnic Fisheries Officers Training Course held in Koumac in New Caledonia’s Northern Province during May and June (see feature article by Michel Blanc in this newsletter). As in past years, Steve acted as fish master on board Marine Marchande’s 12-m aluminium catamaran, FV Dar Mad.
