Abstract

The final workshop of this research project was successfully held on 12- 13 June in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The overall objective of the project was to increase the incomes of rice farmers and other users of floodplains (i.e., fishers) in the deepwater rice ecosystems through the integration of “indigenous” resource management techniques with semi-intensive ricefish culture and management technologies.
