Abstract

On 14 March 2001, ICLARM – The World Fish Center, in collaboration with the Fisheries Research Institute (FRI) Malaysian Department of Fisheries, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), and the Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) convened the first meeting on Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) in Malaysia to identify potential areas for collaborative research on MPAs in Malaysia.
