Abstract

The Rajadanu strain of common carp (Cyprinus caprio) has been transferred from Indonesia to India. This strain will be evaluated, along with the other two common carp strains received from Hungary (Sarwas P3 and wild strain) and three strains received from Vietnam (common carp1; selected Vietnamese2; Vietnamese local), and initiate suitable breeding program for increased growth and late maturity.
