Abstract

The Dedication Ceremony of the John L. Dillon Social Science and Aquatic Resources Economics Laboratory at the new headquarters of ICLARM-The World Fish Center in Batu Maung, Penang, Malaysia was held on 8 May 2001. Matthew Dillon, the son of John Dillon represented his father in the Dedication Ceremony. The speech of John Dillon, presented by Matthew on his behalf and excerpts of the speech of the Director General, Meryl Williams.
