Abstract

ICLARM’s Africa and West Asia Regional Center in Egypt, in collaboration with the FAO Regional Office for the Near East, conducted a training program on “Application of Genetics in Aquaculture and Fisheries Management” for 13 scientists from the Near East and Mediterranean countries (Cyprus, Egypt, Iran, Libya, Malta, Morocco, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, and Turkey) from 7-24 October 2000 at ICLARM, Abbassa, Egypt.
