Abstract

Reliable simulations are achieved only after repetitive runs over months. The first step towards a reliable and robust tsunami forecasting capability is to create a database of pre-computed scenarios that have been carefully analysed and interpreted. From this base, a scenario that corresponds closest to the real-life situation at hand can be picked in quick time.
