Abstract

One of the Women Self Help Groups (WSHGs) of Puthenvelikkara who used to do oyster farming in the coastal region, started mussel farming in 2014-15 and successfully harvested 1200 kg of mussel which was sold as depurated and heat shucked meat, packed in either half shell or without shell in trays.
