Abstract
A workshop on 'Implementing the FAO Voluntary Guidelines for Securing Sustainable Smallscale Fisheries in the Context of Food Security and Poverty Eradication (SSF Guidelines)' was held in Chennai, India, during 6-7 March 2015. Organized by the International Collective in Support of Fishworkers (ICSF) with support from the Bay of Bengal Large Marine Ecosystem (BOBLME) Project, the workshop was the third in a series to be held in 2015 as part of attempts worldwide to promote ownership of the SSF Guidelines among different stakeholders.
