Abstract

This paper presents the primary state of knowledge of the roles of women in southern Thai small-scale fishing village, an overlooked issue in Thai society. Its ultimate goals are a) to provide basic information to interested people in order to b) promote women's roles in small-scale fishing community organisations and c) promote sustainability of the organisations.
