Abstract

The documentary film Unseen Faces, Unheard Voices is an effort toward video documenting the impacts of the boom in aquaculture on women. Shot in the remote villages of Purba Medinipur, West Bengal, the film makes a pitch to people and institutions working on aquaculture to be gender inclusive in their precautionary approach to the sector’s development.
