Abstract

According to the objectives of the World Forum of Fish Harvesters and Fish Workers (WFF) established in New Delhi in India in 1997, the WFF will: Recognise, protect and enhance the role of women in the fishing economy and in the sustenance of the community.’ (Objective No 3). This objective resulted in the parity of delegations from the 32 participant countries.
