Abstract

This report documents the international conference of fishworkers and their supporters that took place in Rome, Italy from July 4-8, 1984. The conferences was an historical event, fishworkers the main actors of fisheries development have been excluded from discussions and decision making, both at broad policy level and concrete project level.
