Abstract

The consultations for the guidelines of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) on smallscale fisheries (SSF) have been rather extensive. In the case of Myanmar, they have also provided a possibility for the SSF community to participate in the process. It was also a first-time opportunity for the International Collective in Support of Fishworkers (ICSF) to interact with the fishworkers of Myanmar.
