Abstract

This paper presents a description of the multi-day fishing technology introduced into Sri Lanka fisheries, and its economic and social implications. This study is based on the results of field studies carried out in Dondra and Beruwala, two fishing villages, respectively, in the southern and western provinces of Sri Lanka.
