Abstract

This report constitutes an examination and compilation of the best practices on collection, disposal, research and development, and policy-based management in dealing with marine litter in fisheries, aquaculture and shipping sectors in the NOWPAP region. While some of the practices presented here have been introduced in previous MERRAC reports, more detailed information and improvements of the methods can be found within this report.
