Abstract
Marine Fisheries Census 2016 was conducted in six coastal districts of Odisha namely Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Puri and Ganjam during February 2016. The scope, time frame, and terms used are described in Marine Fisheries Census 2016 India Report. The significant features of marine fisheries census 2016 for Odisha are summarized below.
