Abstract
Marine Fisheries Census 2016 was carried out in three coastal districts of Karnataka namely, Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Uttara Kannada. The scope, time frame, the parameters, type of schedules used are described in Marine Fisheries Census 2016 India Report. The significant features observed from the census data are summarized below.
