Abstract
Marine Fisheries Census 2016 of Union Territory (U.T.) of Andaman & Nicobar Islands in India was carried out in its districts Nicobar, North and Middle Andaman and South Andaman covering all the 169 marine fishing villages. The scope, time frame, and terms used are described in Marine Fisheries Census 2016 India Report. Summary of significant features noted from the census data are given below.
