The First Session of the Sub-Committee on Fisheries Management (COFI:FM) of the Committee on Fisheries of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) was held virtually from 15 to 18 January 2024. It was attended by 95 Members of the FAO Committee on Fisheries (COFI) plus one Member Organization, by representatives from three specialized agencies of the United Nations, by observers from 14 other FAO Member Nations and by 47 observers from intergovernmental and international non-governmental organizations. This document outlines the main conclusions of the First Session of the Sub-Committee on Fisheries Management (COFI/FM/I).
