Explore three climate-smart innovations—solar tent dryers, solar-powered freezers, and fish smoking kilns—helping fishing communities in Kenya’s Lake Victoria region tackle food preservation challenges, improve livelihoods, and adapt to climate change. These technologies ensure faster drying, longer storage, and extended shelf life, reducing spoilage and boosting resilience while empowering women and youth, and helping drive economic growth.
