Abstract

These guidelines address the incorporation of agriculture, forestry and fisheries planning into integrated coastal area management. These guidelines examines issues specific to agriculture, forestry and fisheries sectors and suggest the process, information requirements, policy directions, planning tools and possible interventions that are necessary for ICAM. These guidelines advocate coordinated sectoral management according to commonly agreed goals and objectives for coastal area development.
