Abstract
The European Community attaches great importance to the implementation of the existing international framework of treaties and agreements in order to create an enabling policy environment for effective ocean and seas management. Reviews the policies, programmes, financial instruments and projects which the European community is supporting with partners in countries through out the world to promote sustainable management of the ocean resources.
