Abstract

This book contains proceedings of the symposium on fishery Resources Management held in Lima, Peru, in June 1992 addressed several aspects of fishery management - theory and practice, the experience of different countries, and current world trends in fishery management. It also discussed strategies for managing transboundary stocks and aerial surveillance techniques for monitoring fishing operations. The papers are divided into chapters covering the fishery management experience of different countries, as well as conceptual chapters and a review of world trends.
