Abstract

This books Publication presents the background information on (i) the fisheries oceanographical features and productivity of the shelf waters of the west coast of India with particular reference to the Southwest monsoon season, (ii) the status of the important fish and shellfish resources exploited during Pre-monsoon, monsoon and post-monsoon seasons and (iii) the socio-economic aspects of the fishermen and the fisheries.
