Abstract
For the last five years, the Centre for Marketing Information and Advisory Services for Fishery Products in Latin America and the Caribbean (INFOPESCA) has been co-ordinating the Latin American Network of Women working in the fisheries sector (NETWIF). The network now has some 400 members from all the countries of the region. It is open to all women working in the fisheries sector—from those in production, processing and marketing, to those in the university or government.
