Abstract

The Second Conference and the Second General Body meeting of AKTEA: European Network of Women’s Organizations in Fisheries and Aquaculture will be held in Northern Ireland in April 2007. Both events are being hosted by the Northern Ireland Women in Fisheries (NIWIF) network, which groups fisherwomen. The conference has been planned in two parts. The first part will focus on action needed vis-à-vis European institutions.
