Abstract

Together with the International Labor Organization (ILO), the National Institute of Women of Costa Rica, the Marine Responsible Fishing Areas Network and marine territories of life, from CoopeSoliDar R.L we have made an effort to learn and recognize the work of women in the artisanal small scale fishing activities in Costa Rica. The relevance of these work, that is summarized in the video, is that by the first time, we are able to listen to the voice of more than 500 fisherwomen that work in the coastal and marine areas of our country, invisibles, and without having the fundamental rights that the rest of us Costa Rican can enjoy.
