Abstract

Discusses the various issues that pose a threat to the Marine ecosystem in the Indian Ocean region and the International agreements that play a role in restricting activities that pose a threat to the ecosystem. This also looks into the various problems and concerns in the fisheries sector in the Indian Ocean region.
