Abstract

This survey of New Zealand natural resource mangement for space reasons cannot cover the whole spectrum, necessarily whole important areas have been omitted or given only brief mention. Topics treated in more depth cover the sweeping reforms of the 1984-90 peried, the restructuring of the environmental administration of New Zealand , the Resource Management Act 1991 and marine particularly fisheries management.
