Abstract

This publication analyses the date on fishing vessels over 100 Gross Registered Tons from the database maintained by Lloyd's Register of Ships. The data analysed is from the period 1985 to 1997; it lists the main fishing countries and describes how their fleets of large fishing vessels have changed during this period.
