This paper focuses on the Marshall Plan, and develops a "folk image" and contrasts it with the reality of the plan. Also considers alternative channels through which the Marshall Plan could have accelerated economic recovery. There are two sets of comparison used, one is Europe after World War I and second is with the experience of Argentina.
